She has the joy to have a great family, her husband, Don, of 20 years; three children and three grandchildren.
After a couple of years in the business office at a long-term care facility, Denise knew this was the line of work for her and decided to obtain her administrator’s license.
For Denise, she receives much more than she gives. It’s really amazing for her to come to work every day and truly enjoy this job. She has the joy of working with seniors and is able to share the experience of being a member of a very large family:
“The residents and their families are an extension of my own family in my heart. We rejoice together; we cry together; we support one another through good times and bad times; – that is what it means to be a family. I am continuously amazed at the personal satisfaction and joy I am present to just by spending a few minutes talking with a resident."
